Flu 2020

Flu Vaccination Campaign 2020

None of us would in our wildest dreams ever have thought that a virus, or as we now know it, Covid-19, would have such a significant impact within the UK and across the world.  It has truly touched us all.   The NHS has been at the forefront of keeping the UK safe during these uncertain times and this has been challenging for each and every one of us.

At this time, we do not have a vaccination for Coronavirus.  But, as a patient of Danebridge Medical Practice, we note from our records that you are in a priority group and are entitled to, and are strongly advised to have, the seasonal flu vaccination.

We have purchased a Flu Vaccination for you and by having it at our surgery, you will protect yourself over the winter months and also support the Practice in being able to deliver this critically important national campaign.

This year’s Flu Vaccination Campaign will be delivered differently, as you would expect, and we will be observing strict guidelines to keep you safe, including social distancing and infection control.  Further information is included in this letter.

To book your appointment, please call the surgery on 01606 544544 and select Option 6, between 1.00pm and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

This year’s Flu Vaccination Campaign is by appointment only.  We will be providing appointments on weekdays, including some early and late appointment and on a number of Saturday mornings.

Please do let us know if you would prefer NOT to have a Flu Vaccination  this year, so that we do not bother you with further reminders.  Just call 01606 544544 and select Option 6 (between 1.00pm – 5.00pm); or e-mail Danebridge.Surgery@nhs.net with a subject heading of ‘Flu Vaccination Campaign 2020’.

We look forward to welcoming you to one of our clinics.  Stay safe and look after those close to you.
