Fraud alert

We have been notified by a local GP practice that one of their patients received a phone call from an individual impersonating a medical professional associated with the practice. The caller claimed to be a “senior health advisor” collaborating with the practice.

The caller began by asking the patient about their past and current medical issues. After building a rapport, the caller offered medication for the patient to try, at a cost. The caller then requested the patient’s bank details to process the payment.

Please be aware that the we will never contact you requesting money for medication.
