South Cheshire and Vale Royal GP’s are now offering extended hours appointments at selected practices which will be known as GP Hubs.
These appointments are available to any registered patients from any practice within the boundaries of South Cheshire and Vale Royal.

HALF-DAY CLOSURES 2018
Danebridge, Kingsmead and the Sandiway surgery will be closed during the hours of 1pm – 5pm on the following dates for staff training
On these dates all surgeries close at 1pm. However, Danebridge and Kingsmead will re-open at 5pm for emergencies only. During the closed period, emergencies are dealt with by the Out of Hours Service by telephoning: 01270 273667

ELECTRONIC PRESCRIPTION SERVICE (EPS) As from the 26th June, Danebridge Group Practice has been able to offer the Electronic Prescription Service to our patients. The EPS gives patients the choice to have their prescription sent electronically to their nominated Pharmacy, rather than having to come into the surgery to collect it. The pharmacy can be near to where you live, work or shop, whatever is the most convenient.If you would like to use the EPS you must first ‘nominate’ a pharmacy. This is done by going into your chosen pharmacy and completing a consent form (forms are also available from reception, but these must be given back to the pharmacy NOT to the surgery). This service is not compulsory and patients can continue to request and collect their prescriptions as they do now if that is preferred.
CARE QUALITY COMMISSION (CQC) The Care Quality Commission make sure hospitals, care homes, dental and GP surgeries and all other care services in England provide people with safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care and encourage providers to make improvements. TELEPHONE CALLS If you need to ring the surgery to speak to a secretary regarding a query, or to speak to our staff regarding any prescription queries, unless it is urgent, please call after 9:30am. Understandably our staff are initially very busy with the influx of calls regarding appointments for that day, liaising with the Doctors and dealing with messages, internet, email and fax queries that have come in overnight. Your consideration is very much appreciated.When calling the surgery for your test results, please allow at least 5 working days for all results to be returned to us and be commented upon by your Doctor. Please be aware that some results can however take up to 2 weeks to be processed. Please call the results line directly on: 01606 544579 During the hours of 11-12pm and 3-5pm Your results will only be given to you, so please DO NOT ask somebody else to call on your behalf to obtain your test results.
