Now that we have a new roof, we are delighted that our premises will be re-furbished internally over the coming months, beginning towards the end of February. We will try and keep disruption to a minimum however please bear with us as Clinicians may have to work from different rooms as the work progresses.

Thanks to a generous donation from the estate of a former patient, we have been able to replace most of our examination couches and some of the chairs in our clinical rooms at Danebridge, Kingsmead and Sandiway. The Practice is very grateful for this very kind gesture.

It is with deep sadness that we advise that Dr Nichola Russell died on Thursday 4 January 2018.We appreciate that this will be a very difficult time for many people for whom Dr Russell was their Doctor, work colleague or friend. We are sure that you will join us in sending our deepest sympathy to Dr Russell’s family at this time.Danebridge GP Partners

ELECTRONIC PRESCRIPTION SERVICE (EPS) As from the 26th June, Danebridge Group Practice has been able to offer the Electronic Prescription Service to our patients. The EPS gives patients the choice to have their prescription sent electronically to their nominated Pharmacy, rather than having to come into the surgery to collect it. The pharmacy can be near to where you live, work or shop, whatever is the most convenient. If you would like to use the EPS you must first ‘nominate’ a pharmacy. This is done by going into your chosen pharmacy and completing a consent form (forms are also available from reception, but these must be given back to the pharmacy NOT to the surgery). This service is not compulsory and patients can continue to request and collect their prescriptions as they do now if that is preferred.

CARE QUALITY COMMISSION (CQC) The Care Quality Commission make sure hospitals, care homes, dental and GP surgeries and all other care services in England provide people with safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care and encourage providers to make improvements. This is done by an Inspection.Danebridge Group Practice received an inspection from the CQC in June 2015. -CLICK HERE FOR THE REPORTIf you would like more information about the CQC, please visit their website at
